Challenges & Approach
The key sequence took place on a wide set with around twenty extras. The director, who also served as DoP, wanted a moonlit look that felt strongly contrasted, yet slightly stylized. I translated this vision into practice by designing a hard moonlight effect for the wide shots, then complementing it with softer sources for the closer setups.
